I feel very sad to hear that one the greatest Rhythm'n'blues musicians is no more with us. Every note you played came from your heart and whenever I listened to your music you touched my soul. I had the great pleasure to see you live in concert in 1973 and since that day I collected every little piece of your music I could get a hold of. You are in good company now up there with Jimi, Janis, Luther and many others. Thank you one more time for being a highlight in my music-world.

I was very saddened to hear about you leaving - 76 isn't considered a high age anymore, and I've had the impression that your last years have been good to you. Thanks for bringing up some of the finest talents in REAL rhythm and blues and for taking your important part in creating rock and roll - your work and history has been making and still makes life easier to cope with, and for that I'm deeply grateful. Thanks, Ike.

I am a big Ike and Tina fan love there music! I am so saddened by this news!
We all know the story between him and Tina! No matter what he may or may not have done the mans still a Legend and will always be remembered for the music he made which was amazing! my condolences go out to the family at this sad time.
