The Broken Chain 

We little knew that morning that

God was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly

In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

you did not go alone;

for part of us went with you,

the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories,

your love is still our guide,

and though we cannot see you,

you are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken

and nothing seems the same,

but as God calls us one by one,

the chain will link again.......

ive listened to ike and tina ever since i was little and i still do.you are all in my thoughts and prayers.may god bless the ike turner family.

I would like to send my Sympathy to the Family. Please remember people that you forgive this man and move on..life should not be based on what someone did in the past....What a person does in the past mean nothing...But, how you leave this world is what counts...May God Bless the entire family with many blessings "in Jesus Name.........Thanks for listening..........Carolyn C.....

To Audrey and Ike's Family.  Even thought I have known Ike for only 6 years, he truely was a great friend with always a smile on him.  My deepest sympathies to you and yours.  Ike will never be forgotten as he got back his name.  Now he is playing the Blues for the man upstairs.  God Bless.

To Ike's Love Ones

God saw the road was getting rough, the hills were hard to climb.  He gently closed those loving eyes, and whispered "Peace be thine."   We know that "Absent in body, is present with the Lord."   May God's peace that surpasses all understanding keep each of you during your period of bereavement.  And remember, weeping endure but a night, joy cometh in the morning.  I pray that God will comfort each of you.
