Go rest High on that mountain, your work on earth is done.
My condolences to your family.
Ike, tell my brother Mark I love him when you see him in heaven!! He will be the tall dorky guy with the toilet paper he wants you to sign.
As for Tina, no matter what happen before you just lost the father of your child and someone you spent a great deal of time with, I am sorry for your pain.

Ike your memory will live on for centuries to come. I am happy to have lived in a time where your music and lyrics has touched the heart, spirit and minds of so many indivuals. The world would not have been the same without you. Thank you too Ike for molding your fabulous wife Tina into the women she is today. If it had not been for you, where would she have been today. For that and much, much more I sing your praise. Go your way my brother and be in peace.

James Brown passed last Christmas. Ike Turner passes on this Christmas season.
Seems like God needed another singer in his choir.
Rest Ike Turner, take your seat. Job well done.
You shared your talent, you entertained the whole world.
You left many songs back here for us to play when we think of you.
What more can we ask for? your memory will never die.
God bless the entire family and God will see you through this sorrowful time.
We love Ike Turner and we love you too.

Ike Turner back in the 50's and 60's was the talk of the town all around the south.
I am happy that he received a Grammy Award. That goes to show that God is right on time for he received this shortly before his death. This made him very happy and I am glad that he was here to receive his reward for this contributions to music and helping others get a start. But now he has received another reward. He won't be judged by what he did not do right, for God has already forgiven him if he did anything wrong. He is now receiving his reward and has the trophy of everlasting life. He will live forever...on earth and in heaven.
May the memories of his life and the love that his fans have for him bring his family comfort at this difficult time.

I would like to extend my deepest condolences to Mia and the entire Turner family on the passing of Mr. Turner. The music industry as well as the African-American community has lost one of the founding individuals who paved the way, opened the door, and influenced many artists of all cultures in the music industry today. Mia, I know we haven't seen each other since '98 but I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May God bless you and help you and the entire Turner family through this difficult time.

I am saddened by the loss of Ike Turner. I am truly a fan of Ike Turner and when I sit down to play my oldies I always select his songs. I always loved his deep voice especially when he said, rolling, rolling, rolling down the river.
Ike Turner will never die. He is still well and alive in the hearts and mind of all who love good soul music and the memories of his life and contributions to the music industry will never, ever die. Ike is not dead, he is just away. Whenever I want to reach him, I'll just play one of his songs and he will be right there.
God bless the family and I share your loss.

My wife and I saw Ike in London five years ago. We witnessed a man with soul and passion for music and life.
After the show we met Ike whom signed my copy of his excellent book 'Takin' Back My Name'. We found Ike to be a beautiful warm person, offering a kind, honest handshake to me and a hug for my wife. Nothing like the person portrayed by the media.
I'd just like to end this by saying, I'll always love the music, especially the innovative guitar style. It didn't matter who was singing, whether it was Jackie Brenston, Billy Gayles or Ike himself. You know it's Ike even without a singer, his guitar was his voice, and man, could it sing!
