I have made a donation to The Family Violence Prevention Fund in Ike Turner's name. He will be missed by those who loved and appreciated him and his music. Thank you, Ike, for your contribution to our lives.

Remembering Ike Turner is very easy for me because his song "Rocket 88" came out at the time my Aunt had just purchased an Oldsmobile "Rocket" 88 and my cousins and siblings would sing the song anytime she would come to visit. She lived in Orange NJ on Oakwood Ave. To the Loved Ones of Ike Turner - God has called to rest a scholar of Rythm and Blues. He will live on in his created musical writings.

A sad loss, I hope will be remembered for his music and all that he gave. I know I will continue to enjoy his music for the rest of my life.

Ike Turner was one of the greatest blues/rock n roll/soul artists of all time.
His more recent live albums such as the North Sea Festival just really lift
the spirit.What a band,what a performer and it's more than justly true that
The Kings Of Rhythm were the best band anywhere.It's so sad he's gone
sad we will no longer hear his music live but what a legacy he's left us all.
 To the family I pass on my deepest compassion at such a loss,our thoughts
and prayers are with you all that you will know God's precious peace also.
 Thank you Ike you brought joy to all of us with your wonderful music.

My condolences to the turner family.  I will never forget watching Ike and Tina Turner on tv. I was a kid of 12 and switching through the channels one night and came upon them singing Rollin on the River. It stopped cold in my tracks. WOW!!! Ike Turner was changing music in America--it was awesome glorious! I will never forget that day, or the other music he created.  He was a rare musical gem.

My deep sympathies to all Ike's children, family, friends and fans. He will be greatly missed and always remembered.

I have had some good times, singing, and dancing to the songs of IKE TURNER. I am still collecting his old songs. MR. TURNER  was a giant in the music industry. IKE TURNER was a house hold name. People talked about IKE as though they knew him. IKE was the best producer in the music field. I am happy that I have so many good memories of  a man with great talent, i wish that i could have been a IKETTE. My heart is filled with pain right now, but I know that IKE TURNER WILL SWEETLY REST.

We meet Ike and members of his band when at the Auto zone park in Memphis, Tn 2000 . He  got up and played with Buddy and his band members and was great, He was so nice and showed he was moving the i=the right direction and he looked great. I t was really a good time in our lives to see a man and see what he had done with his life . He danced with me and played with Buddy it is a greatness we will always  remember. He was one  of the  people that started rock and roll. Our prayer go out to his family and many friends and fans we ae just two.

The media can say whatever they want about Ike Turner.

It does not matter at all.  The bible says,  a man born of a woman

will be full of troubles.  The bible is true.  If Mr. Turner had  trouble in his life it was expected.  The bible says it would happen.

I did not know Ike personally, but I have no double that he made his peace with God before his death.  Ike Turner contributed more to this world than the folks who are sitting back saying negative things.  Ike Turner is a legend.    Ike Turner touched the hearts of human beings all over the world.  He was here for a purpose and his purpose has been filled.   God said, come Ike, take your rest, come go with me.  Ike Turner is alright, he has a  new home, he is at peace.
