I Am Truly Sadened By The Loss Of The Man Who Gave Rock & Roll It's Start.I Had The Pleasure Of Meeting & Talking With Ike In Green Bay A Couple Years Ago,And He Was A Kind & Generous Man.

 To All Those Who Loved Music,He Will Be Greatly Missed.To His Family & Friends:My Most Sincere Condolences.

 I Hope Everyone Takes Solace In The Fact That By His Contributions,Ike Turner Will Always Be Remembered,And Will Truly Live On Forever.

IKE TURNER WAS THE MAN IN THE HISTORY OF MUSIC.  I WAS VERY PROUD TO KNOW A MAN WITH THAT MUCH TALENT, AND POWER.

Ike Turner is something that children who want to play music was and that is a musician.  Anyone can take a beat machine or sample someone elses work.  It takes true creativity to write, produce, arrange and make people want to use your music.  I LOVE IKE TURNER for being an inspiration to all children.  My son is 5 and loves to listen to Ike Turner play.

Ipray that the family will remember all the good times. We all want to go to heaven,but we have to died to get there. So ike his with his creater the one that loves him more than we can ever love him. God bless the family.

 

My condolences to the Ike Turner family and friends. I had the great opportunity to meet Mr. Ike Turner at BWI Airport in Maryland about six years or so ago. I was working (Law Enforcement Officer) patrolling the lower level of the airport when I saw him and his entourage standing on the curb waiting for their limo. He was in town enroute to a gig in D.C. When I realized who he was, I walked over to say hello and greet him. As I reached out to shake his hand, he pulled me close and gave me a friendly hug, as if I had known him for years. It made me feel great that he would treat me like this. He gave me an autograph promo picture and wrote, "Keep going strong", a reference to what he said he had observed watching me working with the traffic. That picture has hung on my living room wall ever since. So, I say to the family as Ike told me, "Keep going strong and build and preserve his contribution to the world of music. God Bless you, Ike Turner, you are appreciated.

May God Bless and help the Turner Family during this difficult time.  Ike was a true musician and musical icon.  May you all find your peace and comfort in the Savior, Jesus Christ.
