Robert Frederick Rock On December 14, 2007
We will miss you Ike. He made great contributions to the world of music. I'll never forget a show the Ike & Tina Turner Revue did in New York's Central Park in the early 70's. It was one of the most polished and professional performances I have ever seen. Rock On man, Rock On! Your spirit lives on forever. My deepest condolences to those who were close to you.

J.J. Vicars Whammy Bar King December 14, 2007
Ike Turner was the original whammy bar king. TWISTIN' THE STRINGS and PRANCIN' are two of the baddest guitar peices ever. His last two albums HERE AND NOW and RISIN' WITH THE BLUES define modern Blues like no other. Rest in peace Ike, the rest of us will still be tryin' to catch up with The Whammy Bar King for a long time to come.

Darla Sorry for your loss December 14, 2007
Just wanted to say that Ike was a great singer. I'm a big fan of his older music. I own the movie "What's love got to do with it" I love to watch it because him & Tina were such good artists. Then & Now. I heard of his death on the news. I'm sorry to say that I haven't heard any of his new music. But, In his memory; I will sure make the effort & time to hear all his lastest great hits So to his family & closest friends; You will be in our thoughts & prayers. Ike may you ~REST-IN-PEACE~
NPOB First December 14, 2007
Bachman dies in a bizarre pig feeding accident and now Turner is taken from us. Only Overdrive is alive to carry their flame now. A sad day for everyone easily confused by misicians with the same name.

Dave Sad Day December 14, 2007

Ike will be missed, I am sorry I never had the chance to see him play live.  Ike should go down in history as making the 1st Rock N Roll record 'Rocket 88". I am a true believer he did it 1st on Chess Records.  To me Ike will always be known as the creator of the 1st R-n-R record.  Afterwards Ike has always been involved in creating great and timeless music. Right till the end I have enjoyed the new music Ike had released.  May Ike rest in peace and be able to see others now enjoy the body of work he created forever.
