despite the poison and hateration, Ike was a wonderful man and we all lost a great
talent. If it had'nt been for him, there wouldn't been a star from Nutbush, Tennessee named Anna Mae Bullock AKA Tina Turner. There wouldn't any hits
known as Rocket 88, A Fool In Love, I'm Blue, Proud Mary, What's Love Got To
Do With It and Steamy Windows. Yeah! I Like Ike.

Ike Turner was a true bluesman. Born during the depression in Mississippi and
you can't get no more bluesy than that. For all you people that have to say
something negative about this man, who gave us such great music, your day
is coming too. The only person that should be allowed to post something negative
is the person that has never made a mistake. If that does not fit you then keep
your negative comments to yourself...Thank you, Mr. Turner for the great music.

My deepest sympathy to Mr. Turner's family. I have throughly enjoyed his music, and because of modern technology, will continue to enjoy it.
To the family: Thank the good Lord for precious memories.

I had the privilage of meeting Ike in the summer of 2005. What a character, and I mean that in a good way. All People have a point in their lives where things just seem to go wrong and Ike was no differant. I saw Ike Turner as a kind, careing, humorous individule. People change and Ike certainly did change. THANK YOU SIR FOR BEING THERE FOR ALL WHO LOVE YOU!! WE ALL LOVE YOU IKE. YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE A PLACE IN MY HEART!!!! GOD BLESS.....

I am child of the 60's and my earliest music memories are of Ike Turner. I may not of been a great fan, but I always liked and admired Ike. He was a talented musician who graced the world with his music. Ike is Gone but he will always be remembered.

I am saddened to hear about Mr. Ike Turner. I am more saddened to have read negative comments about Mr. Turner's past. People do change. God has forgiven him and his soul is at peace. Let's bury the negative things from his past, and give new life to his family and legacy.

I was not a follower of Ike Turner, but apparently he was a great musician. But I just want to say my condolences to his family and loved ones, and to say how sad to read that some felt compelled to leave not so nice posts. You are not hurting him---he is gone. You are hurting those left behind. My prayers go out to his family.
