I wish to extend my sincere condolences to the Turner Family.
It is with great sadness to see the media focus on the wrong parts of this mans life and I believe he deserves respect as anyone else would expect it. It is not my place to judge.
I am grateful for the life of Mr. Turner. As without him alot of the music I Love so much wouldnt be around.
May God send his Blessings to the Turner Family and provide them with the comfort and privacy they deserve.

I am 60. I first saw Ike and Tina when I was a teenage. I lived in a small town in Oklahoma. Ike and his band must have been to every small town in the country, and then some. As we boys tried to look into the windows to catch a glimpse of the Ikettes, and Tina. Ike ran out and said you boys get away from there and scared us to death. He later talked to us. I will always remember that. He was great, and someday hopefully he will get the credit he deserves in the music world. Thanks for all you gave us IKE. Martin

I hope you're reading these notes, Ike. It's too bad we wait until folks leave this world to tell them how special they were to those of us out here. I'm sorry about the pain you experienced in your life, you are a legend. Thank you for your contribution, Ike. What can I say, you were IT, you made Rock what it is, and for that we are forever blessed with your presence.

To the Turner family you have my condolences... Ike's contributions to music cannot be denied! In the last fews years Ike was starting to get the respect he deserved, I'm so glad he was around to see it happen, I still remember seeing that happy smile on his face when he won that Grammy!
