what a loss :-(

Thank you for the Blues.

Ike Turner was an inspiration and leaves a great legacy.  All of us who admired the man and his music are saddened by his loss.  I wish his family and friends comfort and encourage them to celebrate their good fortune in having been close to such a musical genius whose work as guitarist, singer, keyboard player  and bandleader live on as a vivid legacy of the man who made them.

Ike, thank you for your music on Night of the Proms 2006 in Rotterdam !!!

The voice is silent but the music lives on.

I know your final destination will be your greatest musical tribute!!!  You will hook up with the likes of Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, Janis Joplin and other great talents that passed before their time!!!! While you rock on, please accept my thanks for some of the best music ever recorded!!!! Thank-you for introducing us to Ms. Tina Turner. The music that the two of you created was absolutely fabulous!!!!! Your musical talent will live on forever- what a wonderful contribution and legacy to leave behind.

For the family- Death takes its toll- but Keep Ike in your heart by remembering his music and his love for music. There is a reason for everything.  Look to God for support and comfort at this time and follow where he may lead you. God Bless you All !!!
