I just wanted to offer my condolences to the family of Ike Turner on his passing. Despite media accusations, Ike should be best known for creating some of the greatest songs in History of Music and for having one of the best soul bands in music. He will be missed greatly....

Here is my last tribute. I am 36 years old and i am portuguese. the fame of ike and tina turner had faded away when i started to listen to music. in portugal, a southern country in the old europe a boy went back from what's love got to do with it to "a fool in love". respecting tina turner because she is an amazing musician but recognizing the talent of ike turner. i am one of the people who loves more the mucic of Ike and Tina turner period when thinking about Tina turner. I read the booak "taking back my name" and i give it back to mr ike turner. he with tina helped me to be the man and the professional i am ( in life i am economist and manager but i know that my leading cappabilities and inner strenght are rooted in their soulful music). I am a better man because one day i had the opportunity to hear the music of ike and tina turner. Thank you Ike. Rest in peace. I am one of whom will say you were a great man no matter how many problems hou had and errors commited. that's why we are christians: he know the value of forgiveness. You gave a lot to the music history, hence to the mankind. Thank you

To the family and close friends of the late Ike Turner. He was truly an IKE-ON a God given talent that will surely be missed. As a fan i never looked at him by the way the movie or the media portrayed him, his heart wrote all that legendary music, after all nobody is perfect,but his music was. I pray that God will give Tina a forgiving spirit so that she may make peace within and say her final good-bye to the man who gave her stardom status. God Bless
