Dear Ike,
how little some narrowminded people know about you or the relationship you had with the people that you loved and were your friends.
When I read some of the comments on this page I am sad and amazed how
one can curse over a person that has just passed away and is still among all of the living.
Shame on the people that dare to put you down at this time and place.
I guess my friendship with you will never pass and I caught myself crying
and dropping a tear - which I haven't done for a long long time -
over nobody.
I am with you in spirit and I will always love you for the way and respect that you have treated our friendship with.
I will miss you

May GOD's hands of favor and love touch each person that has seen or heard you over the years. He that gave you the gifts you shared with the world, also showed us the way we can be lead astray and yet still return to his grace.
Our time on earth is brief but our gifts to the world live on. Thanks for sharing yours and in return may we all share what we have learned to others. No greater memorial can be given.

J'ai eu le grand bonheur de l'entendre chanter une dernière fois en Belgique il y a quelques mois (au Spirit of '66 à Verviers). J'étais loin de penser que ce serait la dernière fois !
