MY sister, my neices, nephews, and I use to take turns wearing this red wig singing NUT BUSH CITY. LIMITS. My nephews, and neices were 4 to 6 yrs of age, but my 4 year old nephew BOP could really bring the house down, this child loved that song. We are hurting over our loss of IKE TURNER.
I remember back in the 70's when Ike and Tina would perform on the American Bandstand. My sisters would imitate the group as if we were on stage performing. Yes, we have lost another entertainer. R I P The only thing we can do now is to be there for the Turner family. There is no time to focus on the negatives. Mr. Turner has his legacy in his own way. Everyone has one. To the Turner family; hang in there. Ike is gone, but not forgotten. He is in a better place now where he don't have to worry about anything including what people are saying about him now since he's gone.
PEACE, AND GOD BLESS THE TURNER FAMILY
When I first heard Rocket 88 many years ago
I could not believe it was recorded in 1951. It sounded
like music from the late sixties. It is no doubt the first
hard rock, rock-n-roll song known to man. You really are
the Father of Rock-n-Roll. I know you inspired
Jimi Hendrix and many, many more.
R.I.P.
To the family of Ike Turner:
May God be with you in your time of grief and always remember that Ike is watching you from the heavens above. He is now in a better place and sharing life with our one and only God. He is now awaiting the time till you all be able to meet again.
(RIP: Ike Turner)
Sincerely,
Shameka Stanley
